Dear Brothers + Sisters,

The Holy Spirit is moving and CFC Thailand is now Ablaze! for the Mission.

Today we begin Module I of the first CLP of the year at the Rosa Mystica parish church on Larprao Road Soi 124. It will be in the Thai language and our second CLP in response to the request of parish priests from Sector 2 of the archdiocese of Bangkok. It will be a whole day event, lunch is provided by the parish. Dinner is also provided by the parish for the CLP participants wishing to stay and wait for the 6 o'clock evening Thai Mass. Although 16 couples of Rosa Mystica parishioners have confirmed to participate we expect more because the pastor has sent invitations last week to the nearby churches to also send 2-3 couples from their respective parishes.

SFC-Central Bangkok will conduct their pre-CLP training also today in preparation for their Singles CLP to start on Sunday, Feb. 22nd, at Holy Redeemer church. They will also have their General Assembly tomorrow afternoon.

CFC-Central Bangkok leaders will conduct their Planning workshop for the year on Monday, Feb. 9th, at the Mary, Help of Christians church, to be led by Council members and Chapter leader JayR and Tess Pandaan.

A CFC-Bangkok Thai service team will leave on Friday for Surat Thani for their monthly pastoral follow-up in CFC in Surat Thani, Phanom and Phuket over the next weekend returning on the following Tuesday morning.

Our Mission Volunteer Theresa Phornsinee "Yo" Thanara (YFC-Ubon Ratchatani)is in Manila undergoing spiritual formation and training to become our second full-time pastoral worker when she returns in April. Please pray for the success of our community activities this week and for the sick among us and for the special intentions of those who have asked us for prayers.

Baby Allen Paul, 3-month old son of Rome and Destine (CFC-North Bangkok) was buried yesterday at the archdiocese cemetery in Samphran behind Baan Phu Waan. Please pray for the grieving parents too and many thanks for your kind support, especially from CFC-NB, the AIT Catholic community and Fr. Joe Maier, CSsR.

Have a pleasant weekend everyone. God bless to all, Jimmy
