FATHER CARL SCHMIDT, C.Ss.R.

Educated in Ontario, Quebec and Germany, Father Carl was ordained a Redemptorist Priest in Germany in 1959. He worked as an assistant priest in the German Parish in Toronto and in the Youth Apostolate.
Father has a Masters in Religious Education from the University of Loyola in Chicago and a Masters of Arts majoring in Psychology from the University of Detroit. He began a full time Healing Ministry in 1976 at Holy Redeemer College in Windsor, Ontario and is presently stationed at St. Patrick’s Rectory in Toronto. He is also a member of the Association of Christian Therapists.

His preaching has taken him to Korea, China, India, Philippines, Bahrain, Caribbean and Middle East as well as different parts of the United States and Canada. His first love is preaching Parish Missions and giving retreats.

SISTER MARY HOGAN, O.S.U.

Sister is an Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London, Ontario and in recent years has served the Church there in pastoral and social ministry. She has a Masters Degree in Special Education from Wayne State University in Detroit and is certified in the field of Mental Retardation, Emotional Disturbances and Learning Disabilities. She has worked in the educational field for 25 years, most of which was specialized teaching and principalship.

Sister has been involved in the Renewal Since 1969. She has worked with Fr. Schmidt since 1985 in the Retreat and Healing Ministry. In 1995, Sister has come into her own full time Healing Ministry.

Her work has taken her to the Philippines, Bahrain, Caribbean and Middle East as well as different parts of the U.S.A. and Canada.
